Getting started
Nida shows banners, popups, full-screen messages and an inbox in your Flutter app, drawn as native widgets, and picks the message for each user without an AI call per request.
1. Get an account
Sign up from the pricing page: pick a plan, create your account and your organisation in one step, and confirm the plan. You land in the app, signed in.
2. Add a placement
Open Placements and add one for each spot in your app that shows messages: home_top for a
banner, home_popup for a popup, inbox for the inbox. The app asks for a placement by its key.
3. Issue a key
Open In-app keys and issue a publishable key (ipk_…) for your app. It is shown once.
4. Add the SDK
AppMessages.configure(AppMessagesOptions(
appKey: 'ipk_…',
apiUrl: 'https://<your in-app host>',
placements: ['home_top', 'home_popup', 'inbox'],
onOpenUrl: (url, message) => myRouter.open(url),
));
await AppMessages.identify(user.id);
await AppMessages.setConsent('in_app', true);
// where the app wants it:
const MessageBanner(placement: 'home_top');
Nothing shows before identify, and nothing is decided for a user who hasn’t granted in_app
consent. The Flutter SDK guide has the rest.
5. Try a message on your own phone
Show AppMessagesDebugView in your app to read its install id, and add it, with your user id, in
Test devices. Then create a message in In-app messages: who sees it, where, when, and a
version per language. Keep it a Draft and tick Send to test devices: only your test
devices see it, marked “Test”, whatever its audience.
6. Put it live
Set the message’s status to Live. Pause or archive it the same way. Its Results show impressions, clicks, the click-through rate and the people it reached.
